Well, depending on the bonus features, AND of course whether it's New Line or Warner Bros. doing the releasing, this is awesome news. That movie deserved a special edition years ago. And hell, there should be promotional material up the yinyang for these movies. They were huge box office draws back then. There should be a gazillion tv ads and promo presskit stuff...
However, if Warner has taken New Line's stuff fully by this time, they'll screw this over just like they screwed Beetlejuice and Poltergeist for sure.

i just hope they dont throw in 1 or 2 episodes of the cartoon series thinking they can get away with calling that "special features" although those would be nice but i hope they take advantage of the size capacity blu-ray has

Dude when i was young the turtles creeped me out. TMNT the new one was just bad. But the old ones weren't great but are classics. So gonna pick this up.

That's the only thing that scares me. I know that TMNT will look fine since it's animated, I saw it in HD on Cinemax or HBO and it looked awesome.
