Anybody ever see or buy any of those double feature DVD's, they sell em pretty much everywhere. For the ones ive seen they are a decent price. most around 10$.
I picked the Bruce Willis Double Feature which included Hostage and Sin City awhile ago for 10 bucks and thought that was a good deal.

I try not to get a lot of them because I try to get the regular DVD. Though I got Mountaintop Motel Massacre/The Initiation, Rambo-War BD pack, Rambo 2 and 3 Pack, and National Lampoon's Vacation and European Vacation.

I've never bought any. I like to own a movie by itself. There are some movies out there that I will have to buy in a double feature, such as Teen Wolf.

i think these will start to be phased out or have limited releases ... especially now that those 4 hit movies have started to take up shelf space in stores ...

I have a few, like the double feature of the first two Slumber Party Massacre movies, but I prefer getting movies individually.

I regret buying The Comedy Double Feature; with National Lampoon's Vacation and European vacation. Though I still have it I bought them separate too.

Well, let's be smart here. There is a difference between the companies who release Double Feature DVD's. 20th Century Fox was the first real studio to do this. With stuff like The Fly / The Fly II, the Revenge of the Nerds movies, and the old 60's sci-fi movies like Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea / Fantastic Voyage. These were all like strictly movie-only with some trailers. That's it, but they were all widescreen if the movies were originally in widescreen. That's always important. MGM were next. They started with their Midnite Movies collection. Which was a real great thing for movie fans. Because you would pay $10 for 2 movies and get hard to find movies for prices you could afford and always in widescreen if the movies were in widescreen. And sometimes with bonus features. Always trailers (if they were available), and with the Roger Corman movies, you'd get commentaries and interviews. Warner Bros. are where double features get shitty. Because they totally screw up the movies by giving you ones that were already released and only letting you see the Full Frame versions. I can't believe they of all people would pull a Sony and screw you with it. The only time they did anything right was with the Nightmare on Elm Street 4-packs. Those are the only discs you get widescreen prints of the movies. Warner Bros. bought New Line and distribute all their movies now.
