Just got the Blu-ray disc. The movie itself was just okay - same premise as the other films: kids being chased, need to get to spaceship. Nothing new there. Kim Richards and Ike Eisenmann (original Tony & Tia) are in the films, but not as Tony & Tia, which was a complete and total letdown, and another example of how movie writers simply do not understand the movie-watching public. I mean, would it really have been so terrible to have them reprise their original roles for a simple cameo at the end instead of playing the wack parts they got? I don't think so. Aside from that, the rest of the film was standard action fare with a few scenes lingering in just-accept-it mode. The disc itself also does not offer much: a digital copy that I won't use, deleted scenes, bloopers, and a Hidden Gems Reference game(?) called "Which Mountain?" that didn't even interest me enough to watch, and I grew up with the original films. And the disc, after taxes, was still over $30.00. I could have bought the standard DVD, saved $10.00 got got the same enjoyment out of the film. Blu-ray is still, as far as I'm concerned, too expensive.

Blu-Ray is too expensive and I hate how they give you that shitty Digital Copy. They should just sell it separate. I don't mind the extra Dvd (I usually give that to a friend), but sell the DC separate.
