I had to vote KFC as we do not have Popeye's here in Nova Scotia, Canada and I live two doors down from a KFC here lol Though we also have a chicken place that is unique to here called "Mary Brown's Fried Chicken"

Bojangles.
The chicken tastes excellent. The cajun seasoned fries are excellent. The sweet tea is like crack in a container. Around here KFC and Popeyes taste like they don't change their oil, while with Bojangles its changed after every haul of chicken they fry. Fries should not stick together from grease and I can't stomach the smell of it.

It seems like both chicken places have become less tasty over the years. If I go to either one, they make it dry, and the seasoning tastes different. I used to like both, but about 3-5 years ago, they seemed better.
My favorite used to be Pioneer Chicken, which closed sometime in the 1990's. There is one left in Los Angeles County, but, it's inconvenient for me to drive there, and it's in a not so good neigborhood.

There is no popeye's where I live and I like KFC, but there is this more local chain that makes some awesome chicken so my vote goes to other.
