I personally am so excited to finally see a true fourth entry!
The direct-to-DVD spin offs were terrible and are not considered part of the franchise in my opinion.
I'm excited that the gang is back together and I can't wait to see this film being that I was such a big fan of the first three.
What is everyone else's thoughts on this?

I defiantly plan to see this in theaters. I hope Mena Suvari gets a lot of screen time.

I agree. Especially since Oz and Heather and Vicky weren't in American Wedding, I hope we get a lot of screen time for them. Especially scenes with Oz and Heather together and Kevin and Vicky together

Me too, I want to see this in the theatre. I saw a display in Walmart with all the old American Pie's along with the straight to DVD ones. Each only five bucks. I was going to buy them, but, I spent too much on the used Blockbuster stuff I got recently.

I'm looking forward to seeing Jason Biggs and Natasha Lyonne. John Cho of course will be great, but hope he gets some bigger scenes than usual in the series. Should be a fun film though.

The American Pie $5 movie display is gone at the Walmart where I live. They put them in the regular $5 bin. But, I never saw the straight to DVD spin off's. Do they have any of the original cast? I'm guessing that they don't.
I hope my schedule will allow me to see the one in the movie theatre before the end of the run.

The 3 films that came out after the first three are decent but not as good as the originals. They have decent looking girls that are naked which is always a plus. Especially in the naked mile. The band camp film is epic.

Just got back from seeing it tonight. I really liked it. It wrapped up all the lives of the main characters well, and it was funny. Especially the Dad.
It was wierd to see them age over the years, because I see them as young people in my mind. I recommend seeing it.

I think the only original cast member to appear in the Direct to DVD titles was Eugene Levy. The only one I actually watched was the Band Camp one. After viewing it I sort of gave up on the others.

I'm kind of curious about the direct to DVD ones, but, I just don't want to spend the money. Even though I can get them at Walmart for 5 bucks, lol. At least Eugene Levy got some acting work over all these years.

Got to see the movie yesterday. I LOLed till I cried. The ending was epic.
Great ending to the franchise. I did enjoy the direct-to-dvd sequels though (I just don't consider them cannon).
