Well I'm hoping for your sake that someone is working on it. Cheers, Dain First, Poultrygeist is wonderful! It is everything a Troma movie should be and then some. I've worked on a few indy films with people who worked on it, and they are almost all independant film makers, so you can be sure that there is behind the scenes footage all over. Anyone who has tried collecting Troma films knows that they tend to send out a nude release (minus extras) and then a year later they release the next version (with extras) before cashing in on that and releasing a special edition with the full compliment of extras. Then comes the box set and eventually the Collectors Edition. Basically, you have to decide how much jackassie special features you give enough of a crap to sit through. I really think the world of Lloyd Kaufman. I'm not kidding a bit when I say that I think he should get a McArther Award for carrying independant american film through the 1980's and helping make it what it is today. He has inspired generations of film makers... As an official Tromette I'm bias however.

I do think he is very underrated by a long shot. Chhers, Dain

DECAMPITATED! Wow, I just received this Troma movie in the mail yesterday and watched it today. This movie was AWESOME! This totally just snuck right up into my favorite Troma list without a doubt. I thought it was THAT good. A great comedy/horror spoof directed by Matt Cunningham. Wow, I want to look up more of this guys stuff. This was excellent!
Cheers, Dain

Only have a few...
Cannibal the Musical: GREAT movie! Should be in everyones collection! Hysterical!
Fatty Drives the Bus: Quite possible the worst movie I have ever watched! And the DVD cover had NOTHING to do with the movie!! disappointing..
Redneck Zombies: Hilarious, but extremely gory! One of the films you would believe you were the only one to have seen...
Everytime I hear people talk about Troma, it makes me wanna buy tons of their movies.. Probably because of the great names...
A Nymphoid Barbarian in Dinosaur Hell... Geez..

Troma movies to me have always been really addicting. I have all the ones you've listed plus a ton more. I seriously love DECAMPITATED though. That movie was great and looking forward to watching it alot more. Definitely recommended for the TROMA fans. I know it can get a little pricey on the market but I was lucky enough to find it by luck for only $10. The one you listed: Nymphoid Barbarian in Dinosaur Hell I saw on USA Up All Night a lonnnnnng time ago. That's a classic right there. Cheers, Dain

I know what you mean! They all look hilarious - most of them because they look pathetic ;D I'll check it out, but it is REALLY hard to find Troma movies in Denmark.. You can rarely find them online Which ones would you recommend? Always thought Beware! Children at Play sounded great... I also love the fact that they a all stuffed with special features! Did you like Fatty Drives the Bus? Thought it was worse than awful!

Did you like Fatty Drives the Bus? Thought it was worse than awful! Yeah, "Fatty Drives a Bus" was eh. I know whatcha mean there! lol Ohhh, "Beware: Children at Play" was awesome! I mean, I liked it. I can see where some people wouldn't but hey..it's TROMA! I think the ending is just pure classic. You can't go wrong with the price just for the ending alone. I would start with the easy available classics like: Tromeo and Juliet, Terror Firmer, Toxic Avenger 1-4 ( 1-3 can be purchased as a box set but #4 which is "Citizen Toxie" is left out of the set ), Class of Nuke Em High 1-3 ( all come in a nice box set ), ...then work your way right down through other lesser known ones that are still great like: - Decampitated- Jefftowne ( a pretty sweet documentary ) -check out some Tromadance Film Fest ( these are really cool-look into these ) -the Troma 3-pack "Triple B-header" with 3 films on it- "Blades", "Bloodhook" and "Zombie Island Massacre" ( I think the best one of the Troma Triple Feature Series - Killer Nerd/Bride of Killer Nerd ( this is great stuff with Toby Radloff- the real nerd - 2 films for one price...good deal) - Combat Shock (I really liked this one- pretty powerful) - Tromas WAR- A cool little spoof ditty of the action/war films of the 80s- total classic ) - Crapston Villas ( humorous claymation-cartoon so awful its great ) - Luther the Geek-( freaky little horror film with a man obsessed with a behavior of a chicken who murders- cracks me up everytime) - Rabid Grannies!- this is another one of my favorite TROMA films. The name says it all. - Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D- Haha- another hilarious Troma film- Kabukiman with the truck scene makes me crack up everytime. These are some off the top of my head and looking at some of my collection in front of me. There are many, many other TROMA released films but above are some of my favorites. I hope this helps! Looking forward to see what you pick-up next. ;D Cheers, Dain

You can get the Complete Toxic Avenger which has all 4 toxie movies and the complete Toxic Crusaders cartoon now.
I would also recomend pretty much all of the Lloyd directed flicks, War, Nuke Em High, Tromeo, Terror Firmer, the early sexy comedies (Stuck on You, First Turn On, Waitress, and Squeeze Play), even Kabukiman
Also the movie that his brother Charles made are all pretty awesome - Ferocious Female Freedom Fighters, Mother's Day, and When Nature Calls. I have a laserdisc of another one he made that isn't available on DVD, called Jakarta, but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet.
Those are a good primer for Troma, and then just go from there and get anything else you can find. At least half of their catalog is worth watching. And can be very entertaining if you are in the right frame of mind.

Of course I'm always in the right frame of mind to watch these flicks just cause I think I have a similar sort of personality with dry humor. Yup, alot of people don't understand me either. But anyways, this is a good starting point for the beginner-most definitely. Cheers, Dain

It says on the box that it is presented in 5.1 Dolby Surround, and 16:9 widescreen, but I find that hard to believe Im gonna order it soon...

Ahh, that explains it then. Ok, so your in Europe- that makes more sense now. I looked it up and found it on that cdon.com website too. Pretty sweet! Yeah, definitely- if you can hook up with that deal, do it. That's a pretty slammin' deal without a doubt. I wonder if it comes with all the extras or not. Hmmm. Anywho- let me know if you get it or not. I'm curious on that one now. Cheers, Dain

I would buy that if the transfers were good. I would love to see those movies 16:9, even if they were shot open matte, at least the Toxie and Nuke Em High movies. If you get it let us know how the transfers and sound are.
For sure it is worth the price. I'm going to look and see how much shipping is to the US just in case it is a solid release.
