Yes, as a huge fan, I've dreamt of making an Evil Dead film for years, but never got any good ideas for a film. Finally, I sat down and thought to myself, I could remake it.
So, I've recently cast some of my friends as Ash, Sheryl, and Scott.
The main plot is very different than that of the original 1982 film. Set in Michigan 1979. Ash is getting chased by some bullies at school and, while hiding in the forest, finds the Book of the Dead. He invites his friends Shelly and Scott, his girlfriend Linda, and younger sister Sheryl to see this ancient articfact. Ash, while the inscriptions placed in the book, resurrects century-old demons and evil forces and soon, one by one, the teens are possessed and murdered.
I need some support here and if there is anyone who wants to help somehow, let me know.

That sounds pretty interesting. Go for it! Also, since the Book of the Dead is also known as the Necronomicon (from the imagination of Howard Phillips Lovecraft), I would suggest giving a Lovecraftian deity, such as Cthulhu or Azathoth, a cameo of some sort.

I actually thought about it last night. And I've decided to do a film, similar to The Evil Dead, but not exactly a remake. It will be called The Evil Dead's original title, Book of the Dead.
The characters will be different, but the storyline remains.

That's cool to hear! Can't wait to see it when it's on Youtube! ;D And I really do hope you go with the Lovecraftian deity cameo.

Really excited about it. Sounds cool, be sure to make it just like Sam Raimi would.
