when i first saw the Cloverfield movie poster ... i though it looked like a rip off of "The Day After Tomorrow"

I too was online looking for clues about the enigma behind the movie. I was hoping the monster would be Cthulhu, but the clues pointed it to being an original monster. Fortunately, however, at least the monster looks like a Lovecraftian Great Old One. On another note, I expect to look online for clues to the sequel, since the movie keeps the enigma going instead of ending it.

I just found out theat my video store sells and rents out new movies a week in advance ... so ill be watching Cloverfield tonight .... AWESOME The rental stores copy... MY COPY lol ive gotten so many dvd's this week that i havent gotten around to watching Cloverfield again... ill wait for tomorrow morning ... .im looking forward to the commentary track

Target has a "Deluxe Exclusive Edition" which comes with the movie and that Rob Party Mix Tape that was sold as a soundtrack ...
Circuit City has it the cheapest price 14.99
Best Buy has it for 15.99 but it comes with a bonus 30 min DVD

I loved Cloverfield. I even have my own forum on it (see sig) I can't wait for it to come out, all of the extras it's going to be awesome.

Yeah, I will be getting the 2-Disc edition definatly... I can't wait for the next one! Hopefully it will provide background information on everything that went down. Cause people are wanna know, you know, how it all went down.
