I bought the DVD yesterday at Target, although I have not had a chance to watch it yet. I am a little disappointed in myself that I bought the (stupid, in *my* mind) DVD with the bonus "Rob's Going To Japan Party Mix" CD. I didn't want that at all. I just didn't want to buy the single disk and I was not having a good day (dentist trip etc.), not a good day to go looking at all the other stores to see what they were offering.
The CD to me at least, sux. No value whatsoever.
Lizzy
P.S. I AM very excited to finally have the MOVIE though.

Unfortunatelly, that's all they had; the single DVD or the DVD with the CD. Besides, I already opened it. I think my mom and dad raised kind of a lamer. Maybe that is why I did the "40 whacks" thing. Heh heh. Lizzy

I've seen Cloverfield twice in theaters and once on DVD. As I said in another thread, I purchased it from Hot Topic on tuesday with my birthday money. I really enjoy that movie. Like thenuke1, I also finally got a glimpse of the Tagruato satellite crashing down into the ocean. I can't wait for the sequel! ;D Hopefully, the monster's true name will be the sequel's title. Btw, Lizzy, the actress who plays as Marlena is also named Lizzy.

Something as ferocious and nightmarish as that beast deserves far better name than Clover. In fact, rumor has it that the monster's real name is Aladygma (ah-lah-dig-mah, or I think that's how it's pronounced). Of course, that's just a rumor and rumors are false most of the time.

Cloverfield was just ok, it wasnt bad. I mean I hate how people take the "shaky camera" from The Blair Witch Project and copy it. After Diary of the Dead and The Bourne 3 it got kind of old. This movie was fine, it just wasn't the best movie I have seen. There is talk about a sequel, but I'm not anticipating it.
